Use South Norwalk station instead. East Norwalk monthly and weekly tickets are always valid for travel at South Norwalk and will also be accepted at Westport during the closure. East Norwalk parking permits will be accepted at South Norwalk. Plan your trip with our TrainTime app or by visiting mta.info.
The overpass at Botanical Garden is closed. Use Bedford Park Blvd instead.

Riverdale station north end access is restricted at W 255 St. Build in extra travel time.

The closure of W. 255th Street for roadway construction is now in effect. All AM and PM passenger pick-ups will now take place at the bus drop-off area. For your safety, please use the platform stairs to access the new pick-up location and avoid walking on the roadway.
Temporary platforms are in place at Botanical Garden, Williams Bridge, and Woodlawn for northbound travel. Build in extra travel time to reach the platform.

Buses replace trains between Bridgeport and Waterbury

Please build in extra travel time, as buses towards Bridgeport leave earlier than scheduled train times. Confirm your bus departure time by checking the TrainTime app, mta.info, or the special schedule. Remember - Make sure to activate your ticket in the TrainTime app before boarding the bus. What’s Happening? CTDOT, in partnership with Metro-North, are upgrading stations at Derby-Shelton, Ansonia, Beacon Falls, and Seymour to accommodate full-train boarding along with covered canopies and enclosed windscreens to provide comfort in all weather conditions. Trains will operate between Hoboken and Suffern, on modified schedules with express trains not running. Riders traveling from Otisville and Salisbury Mills to Hoboken and New York should consider using the Middletown or Harriman stations instead, as only local bus service will be available which does not connect with the train at Ramsey-Route 17. Busing begins with the 12:39am train from Hoboken on Friday night/Saturday morning. Train service resumes late Sunday/early Monday with the 12:39am from Hoboken and the 3:46 AM from Port Jervis.
